What is Betrayal Rescue?
Two words, yet so powerful. The only one who can set you free from the pain is Jesus. The world can offer you ways to cope with the emptiness you feel, and over time, the pain very often subsides. However, God has more for you than simply ignoring what is hurting you. He wants to heal your heart! You have been betrayed by the one person in life you thought you could (and should have been able to) trust. That is betrayal, and you don't need to learn to cope with that, you need to be rescued. Rescue looks like Psalm 40:1-3:
I waited patiently for the LORD; And He inclined to me, And heard my cry.
He also brought me up out of a horrible pit, Out of the miry clay, And set my feet upon a rock, And established my steps.
He has put a new song in my mouth- Praise to our God; Many will see it and fear, And will trust in the LORD.
God wants to rescue women who have been betrayed by their husband's sexual addiction. Your husband's addiction is not your fault. God sees you and is always with you, to walk you through the healing you need.
In April, 2025 God gave me these two words, "Betrayal Rescue."
Our next group will be online (over Zoom) and starts early in 2026.
Betrayal Rescue support groups began meeting in September, 2025. The monthly Betrayal Rescue in-person meetings are be hosted here in Edmonton, and for those who can't make it, other groups will be running online using Zoom.
Connection brings accountability (Proverbs 27:17).
Connection provides strength and support (Ecclesiastes 4:12).
Connection reflects the heart of Jesus (Galatians 6:2).
