Whether your obstacle in life is trauma, betrayal or addiction, Jesus has made a way and paid the price for your healing and freedom. Twelve2 Ministries is here to walk with people who are looking to move forward in their walk with Christ. We believe that beneath the sin, fear, and inability to grow, is a root of pain and trauma, brought on by life in this fallen world. Whether you’re feeling stuck in life or are reeling from the exposure of pornography (and other sexual sin) in your marriage, Jeff and Joanna Stauffer of Twelve2 Ministries, based in Edmonton, Alberta, offers faith based and Christ centred individual ministry.
Who We Are
Twelve2 Ministries was born out of our own experience. In 2021 our lives changed forever when I (Jeff) confessed my longtime addiction to pornography and sexual sin. The season that followed was turbulent and full of change, as we both looked to Jesus for our strength and healing. It took surrender on both our parts. God is faithful and he invited us each into a lifelong journey of healing.
Joanna Stauffer
Joanna is a wife, mother and ‘Grandma Jo’. She believes that every woman can walk in freedom from the devastation and disappointment of sexual betrayal. She believes that, even when life does not go as planned, it is possible to become whole again through Gods healing power.
Joanna is excited to walk with other women as they find healing through Christ. She found out by disclosure, that her husband of almost 30 years had been self-medicating through pornography. Joanna found hope, healing and forgiveness through the coaching process. She discovered the value of community, connecting with other women in betrayal trauma groups. Joanna specializes in coaching other women who have also experienced the trauma caused by the betrayal from their husbands’ addictions.
Joanna loves music, singing and dancing. She particularly enjoys dancing around the house to really loud music because it brings so much healing and freedom. She also loves spending time with her grandchildren; especially dancing with them. Entering into God’s presence through music has brought Joanna much healing during her journey.
Jeff Stauffer
Jeff is a husband, father and grandfather (known as Papa Jeff to his grandchildren) who has come to realize what life can be. No longer bound by addiction and loneliness, Jeff has experienced what the healing of Jesus Christ can do for someone who surrenders to God. Jeff has discovered that freedom from unwanted sexual behavior is not a pipe-dream, but something available to every man and woman.
He is honored to stand with other men who are looking for freedom from unwanted sexual behaviors and the trauma resulting from past experiences. Having walked his own journey out of sexual addiction, Jeff specializes in coaching men who are ready to pursue what is possible when living in freedom from addiction.
Jeff believes in full freedom from sin. When we experience the healing that results from full-hearted surrender to God, the desires of this world fade. What good is it to struggle in life, barely scraping by? Instead of being bombarded with temptation, we can live in such a way that sin has nothing to grab onto. This is the freedom that Christ won for us on the cross—freedom to live in obedience to God.
Miranda is a true believer in inner healing, under the guidance of the Holy Spirit who lives and dwells within all who believe in Jesus. Along with inner healing comes deliverance from the things that have been holding us a back from the destinies and callings God has for our lives. Coming from an emergency services background, Miranda is someone who has lived and worked in a state of trauma after trauma. She has experienced Jesus as the way the truth and the life. We can be restored and renewed by the word of god and that is where Miranda will help and guide you through those deep rooted beliefs and traumas that have caused so much pain and suffering. Through the power of God you will see the light remove the darkness that has been hiding. God wants to restore our lives and bring us back to the living water so we ourselves can be made whole and strong in the Lord.
